Requesting New BCBSLA ID Cards

Obtaining ID Cards with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana

There are multiple options for members to request and receive their ID cards:

• Download a digital card via the BCBSLA mobile app

• Download a PDF card through your BCBSLA online account (My Account)

• Email the BCBSLA secure portal

• Call BCBSLA Customer Service at 1-800-495-2583

To download a digital ID card to your cell phone:

1. Search for the BCBSLA mobile app on your Android or iPhone.

2. Download the BCBSLA Mobile App

3. Create an account

4. Open the BCBSLA App and select "My ID Card"

To download a PDF ID card using your Blue Cross Online Account (My Account):

1. Visit bcbsla.com

2. Click on "Log In" at the top right of the BCBSLA home screen

3. Select "Member" on the next page

4. Log in to My Account

5. Click "Download ID Cards"

6. Click on the image of your ID card to view or download as a PDF

To request ID cards via email:
